Psalm 119:133 (KJV) — Today's Verse for Saturday ...

Order my steps in Jesus: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. Oh how comforting it is to know that Jesus has my life in order! In today’s politically charged atmosphere, it’s easy to get caught up and distraught. But the one who is born again and trusting in the Saviour to lead the way, the days’ events no longer control his thinking.

I’m reminded of Psalm 23 where the Shepherd guides His sheep and provides for all their needs. He also keeps the sheep from being afraid whilst he walks through the valley of the shadow of death. Many times I have feared my circumstances and the Lord Jesus walked beside me and comforted me through His Holy Spirit!

Psa 37:23-25  The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.  (24)  Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.  (25)  I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

Is there anything more comforting than this, friend? Our salvation is “kept” by the Lord Himself! There is nothing that separates the born again believer from God.

Rom 8:38-39  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,  (39)  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Praise the Lord that when we are born again, there is no sin that can keep us out of Heaven. Jesus paid that price and the punishment for sin is no longer held against us.

Rom 8:33  Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.

Amen and Amen!
