This page seems to be one of our most popular. It is our desire that you will search the Scriptures for these prophecies. Some are more clear than others. Nevertheless the final verdict is unmistakable. Please take the time to compare this list with Messianic Prophecy According to the Rabbis as well as Messiah in the Targums. You will find that we are not so far in left field after all. Search our site. Study the typology of the Tabernacle, Moses, Joseph, etc. See how many of the Old Testament characters, places, and objects were prophetic pictures of Messiah. You can not even create a fictional character who is foreshadowed by the Old Testament as much as Jesus was. And at the end of the day, it is our prayer that you will find the truth about Messiah, the Hope of Israel.

~Romans 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

I am on “shouting ground” this morning! The Holy Spirit has, once again, ministered to this weary pilgrim and encouraged my heart through His Word! Jesus Christ is our everything, Christian! He meets all of our needs, both physically and spiritually. He is our Friend that sticks closer than a brother! What more can we ask for?

So get into the “praising spirit” and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ in your hearts today:

~Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

~Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

~1 Corinthians 3:21-23 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; And ye are Christ’s; and Christ {is} God’s.

~John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

~John 16:23-24 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give {it} you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

~Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

~Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive {them}, and ye shall have {them}.

~Ephesians 1:3 Blessed {be} the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly {places} in Christ:

~1 John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

~2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him {to be} sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

~Philippians 1:21 For to me to live {is} Christ, and to die {is} gain.

~2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man {be} in Christ, {he is} a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

~Ephesians 3:20-21 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, (21) Unto him {be} glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

~2 Corinthians 9:8 And God {is} able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all {things}, may abound to every good work:

~Psalms 68:19 Blessed {be} the Lord, {who} daily loadeth us {with benefits, even} the God of our salvation. Selah

Have a GREAT day in the Lord!

~Galatians 6:7-8 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

The longer I live, the more I see this verse fulfilled. I see much more complacency toward anything holy. I see much more hatred of the things of God. I see much more hatred toward God, period. I don’t have to go far to read comments about beliefs, or lack of beliefs. The Internet is filled with these comments – and these are the ones that are spoken! There are countless others who do not make a verbal statement but simply think it in their hearts! The bottom line is that God sees everything. God will judge all things. He will not be made a fool because He knows every detail of every life, even those details that are done in secret. He will not be mocked. So, just who will be included?

~Romans 1:28-32 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

According to these verses, all men are described! It is not a funny matter. It is not something to joke about. It is not going to be a party where all your friends will join you. In fact, the Scriptures describe the end result for these people as one of torture. The most horrendous torture done to any martyr will be a cake walk compared to the torture for all eternity that awaits to the one who rejects Jesus Christ.

~Revelation 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

~Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

~Revelation 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

~Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

The words “lake of fire” are descriptive enough – picture yourself swimming endlessly with no shoreline as your flesh burns. Anyone who has burned himself on an iron or stove can get a small idea of what awaits the one who rejects God and His Son, Jesus Christ. Even more, Christ spoke more on this subject than any other. He does not desire anyone to go to this lake of fire – it is your choice.

~Matthew 8:12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

~Matthew 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

~Matthew 13:50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

~Matthew 22:13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

~Matthew 24:51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

~Matthew 25:30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

~Luke 13:28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

How, then, can one prevent going to this horrifying place?

Acts 8:30-37  And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest? And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him. The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth: In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth. And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man? Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. No one can enter Heaven any other way but than to believe this, as the eunuch did.

~John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

His good news is simple. He left Heaven. He came to earth – born of a virgin. He died for our sins because there’s no way we could live a good enough life – even one sin keeps us out of Heaven. He rose from the dead. He ascended into Heaven and He will come again to judge all.

No Christ, no peace. Know Christ, know peace!

~John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Only the Son, Jesus Christ, can set us free what the bondage of sin! Only the Son, Jesus Christ, can set us free from eternal damnation in hell. Only the Son, Jesus Christ, has paid the price for our penalty of sin! No one else! There are not many roads to Heaven, my friend. The Word says that Christ is the only way.

~Acts 4:10-12 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

There is no salvation in Buddah, none in Allah, none in good works, and none in being a member of any particular church! There is not other way to Heaven but by Jesus Christ. One cannot save himself by doing good works. Your good deeds will NEVER outweigh your sin on justice’s scales? Why? Because even ONE sin will keep you from entering Heaven.

~Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.

Death, both spiritual and physical, come to us because of one sin. We ALL have sinned, therefore, we all will go to Hell unless we are born again (John 3:3). It is only Jesus Christ’s blood that cleanses us from sin at the time of salvation – not Buddah’s, not Allah’s, not your own good deeds.

~1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Do not be deceived! Do not let man carry you away with their words. Use the brain that God has given to you and search His Word and learn the truth about salvation!

~John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Joh 8:32  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

~Malachi 3:6a For I am the LORD, I change not;

The same God who created the heavens and the earth is the same God who will judge mankind at the end. The sins of the Old Testament are still considered sin in the New Testament. As well, they are still sin today. Don’t deceive yourself.

~Hebrews 13:8  Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Christ taught that a foundation that is built upon the Rock, Jesus Christ, will last. The catholic church teaches that Peter is the rock. Unfortunately for them, this viewpoint will fall apart.

~Deuteronomy 32:4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

~Deuteronomy 32:15 But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.

~Deuteronomy 32:18 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.

~2 Samuel 23:3 The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God.

~1 Corinthians 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

There is no question in these four verses that the Rock is God, Jesus Christ. Not only do these verses emphatically state that the Rock is Christ, but the word Rock is capitalized! No matter how much the catholic church teaches that Peter is the rock, their doctrine is a direct contradiction to these Scriptures.  So why does the catholic church teach this?  Let’s look at the Scriptures:

~Matthew 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Peter’s statement (that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God) is that rock Christ spoke of in Matthew 16:18. No matter how hard Satan tries to convince mankind that there are many ways to Heaven, Christ is the only foundation – the only way to Heaven. It is that rock (that Jesus is God, the Saviour and Messiah) that will prevail. Not Peter.

~Matthew 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Albert Barnes worded it beautifully when in his commentary of this verse:

He that is in possession of it has the power of access, and has a general care of a house. Hence, in the Bible, a key is used as a symbol of superintendence an emblem of power and authority. See the Isa_22:22 note; Rev_1:18; Rev_3:7 notes. The kingdom of heaven here means, doubtless, the church on earth. See the notes at Mat_3:2. When the Saviour says, therefore, he will give to Peter the keys of the kingdom of heaven, he means that he will make him the instrument of opening the door of faith to the world the first to preach the gospel to both Jews and Gentiles. This was done, Acts 2:14-36; 10. The “power of the keys” was given, on this occasion, to Peter alone, solely for this reason; the power of “binding and loosing” on earth was given to the other apostles with him. See Mat_18:18. The only pre-eminence, then, that Peter had was the honor of first opening the doors of the gospel to the world.

God is a God of order. The Jews had always been the ones to have the salvation of the Lord and to bring it to others. The Gospel had to be preached to them first (see Romans 1:16, 2:9 and 2:10). The Jew would have to be convinced that the Holy Spirit and salvation they received was the same one the Gentiles were receiving. That is why Peter was given the honor of opening the doors of salvation to both Jews and Gentiles.

The early church had the Apostles to lead them into all truths of the Old Testament Scriptures. As the Gospels and Epistles were written (by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit – not by the Apostles “efforts”) along the way, they were read to the church. The “construction” of the New Testament Scriptures were meticulously cared for and treasured (see 2 Timothy 4:13). The early church definitely had Scriptures which were used by the Apostles and disciples to teach them in all things!

~2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

The catholic church leaders do not want their members reading the Word and interpreting for themselves because they fear that their members would be inspired with truth from the Holy Spirit!

My Heart Panteth for You
Kate Plourde (May 21, 2007)

My heart is full as I sit with You,
During this time of solitude.
A time ever precious and so sweet
Each day my heart’s made new!

Despite the problems of the day
I’m not feeling overwhelmed.
The loving Captain of my ship
Stands watchful at the helm.
The Master of the sea loves me!
My best is His loving plan.
He guides me through the storms of life.
I find rest in His bless’ed Hand.

Dear Lord, be the Commander of my life,
For You care so diligently.
The Word has promised You’ll never sleep,
While you guide me on life’s sea!

The Rose of Sharon

You are the rose of Sharon
And the Lily of the Fields
Your words are fruit unto my soul
In your shadow I do kneel

While there I’m led to the banquet house
Where Your banner o’er me is love
I seek your voice so desperately
Your words are soft as the dove

As the shadows flee and darkness comes
My Saviour awaits there for me
With arms out stretched and inviting
He has promised His comfort so sweet
