Without Knowledge – Pull Up A Chair

Grow-bible_treeProverbs 19:2 Also, [that] the soul [be] without knowledge, [it is] not good; and he that hasteth with [his] feet sinneth.

The Scriptures say that it isn’t good for us to be without knowledge. God gave us His words so that we would not be ignorant of His will for our lives.

I’ve heard asked so many times, “How can I know God’s will for my life?” It is by reading His word and giving heed to what the Scriptures instruct. We will never go wrong if we obey God’s word. NEVER!

The Bible tells us to ask God when we need wisdom. Not only that, He promises to give us wisdom plentifully – liberally! Nor does God hold it against us when we ask!

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

He also promises to give us understanding of things that confuse us or confound us. Because we are His child, we have the spirit of Christ within us and can have confidence that the Almighty will give us understanding.

Job 32:8 But [there is] a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

Proverbs 2:6 For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth [cometh] knowledge and understanding.

Don’t search out the wisdom of the world, friend. For it is filled with lies and deception. God, however, will never lead you astray! It is always best to go to the Source 🙂
