Trusting Him! – Pull Up A Chair

~Psalm 9:10And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

The world says that a good way to know if you trust someone is to turn around and fall backwards into that person’s arms. We’ve all done this at one time or another, right?  We are so willing to trust another human being to this extent but do we trust God in this same way?  Do we trust God with what seems impossible in our lives?  What about with those day-to-day struggles?

This Psalm blesses me because it continues to say that the Lord does not forsake those who seek Him.  God is faithful and is not to be compared to a human being who makes mistakes.  God promises to never forsake us, therefore, He will never forsake us.  We can count on Him to help us through whatever trial, illness or difficulty we are experiencing.  What comfort this is to my heart!

Today’s graphic is Zephaniah 3:17 – what a beautiful way to show God’s love for us, amen? This same God who loves us, has provided us with salvation because He joys over His creation. He desires that you repent, be saved and grow closer to Him. What a wonderful God we serve!!
