Bible Verse of the Day - Daily Scripture, Daily Devotions

Jesus whom thou has commanded is righteous and very faithful! As Christians, we all know that Jesus Christ is the Righteous One (Rev. 16:5). Because of His righteousness, He was the only one who was qualified to die on the cross for our sins, amen? But what pierced my heart this morning is the word faithful. When I’m going through trials, I am thankful that Jesus is faithful!

1 Th5:24  Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

2 Th 3:3  But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

Heb 2:17  Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

Heb 10:23  Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

1 Pe 4:19  Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

1 Jn 1:9  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Rev 1:5-6  And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Rev 3:14  And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

Rev 19:11  And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

Why do you think Christ has left us with so many bible verses about God’s faithfulness? He knows our frailties and knows our doubts. Jesus left us the scriptures so we could learn to get encouragement through times of trial! Why? Because He is faithful, my friend! Because He is faithful!

  1. Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father
There is no shadow of turning with Thee
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be
Great is Thy faithfulness, great is Thy faithfulness
Morning by morning new mercies I see
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

    AMEN & AMEN!
