The Comfort of the Scriptures “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.” – Romans 15:4 I shall speak to you for a little while this morning about the use of the Bible. It is represented in the above verse as a Book that has been Divinely produced, with a view to effecting certain Divine purposes.
