Psalm 119:80 (KJV) Let my heart be sound in thy statutes ...

Let my heart be sound in Jesus; that I be not ashamed! Good morning, readers! I trust that you are rooted and sound in your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Christianity began over 2,000 years ago and was wrought with torture and discrimination at its beginnings from the “religious.” With much sacrifice, Christ’s deity and position as the Only One who provides salvation was preached throughout the world. Christianity today has become diluted and has fallen from what our forefathers lost their lives over. Foxes Book of Martyrs outlines the torments of those who gave their lives for the message of Jesus Christ.

Joh 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Why is this message so important? Just look around you, friend. Observe the “church” of today and the message it presents. There are few who still practice this verse. Many have accepted the world into the mainstream church and their message is not providing the same message of the blessed early church. Today, the church has allowed sodomy in its leadership as well as women pastors, to name a couple of compromises. The very foundations have been shaken and are no longer considered important.

All roads do not lead to heaven, reader! It is a mistake to think that the pope is the “know all” for salvation. His beliefs were revealed when he said:

In comments likely to enhance his progressive reputation, Pope Francis has written a long, open letter to the founder of La Repubblica newspaper, Eugenio Scalfari, stating that non-believers would be forgiven by God if they followed their consciences.

No, this is so wrong and a direct contradiction to the Scriptures! The conscience, is the center of man’s heart, from which a person’s actions are revealed. Jeremiah pointed out:

Jer 17:9  The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

If one follows one’s heart (conscience) instead of the Scriptures, one will surely stray in the wrong direction because man’s heart is desperately wicked according to God’s word. Friend, God’s word is final and pure! The Bible is our measuring stick as to what is true in this world and what isn’t.

Psa 12:6  The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

Therefore, IF God’s words are true in the Scriptures and Jesus is the only way to Heaven, who are you to believe? The world or God? Wouldn’t you rather be in the minority and go to Heaven? Or would you want to go with the majority and be wrong only to spend an eternity in hell, forever separated from God?

Please, reader, do not kick against the pricks as Paul did in Acts 9:5. Paul, a Pharisee and persecutor of the early church, believed his religion so much so that he did all he could to dismiss this “Jesus of Nazareth as Saviour”! But Jesus revealed Himself to Paul and Paul became one of the greatest preachers of all time! Most of the New Testament was penned by Paul. Paul realized that Jesus was the only way and preached it until he was martyred.

In these days, people are looking for peace and truth in a world gone mad with antagonism, hostility and lies. God’s word provides truth and peace for anyone who is searching.

Mat 11:28-30  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
