Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for Jesus is my delight!! Yes!!! Praise His holy name!! \o/ To a Christian, the name of Jesus is a delight and beautiful sound to the ears! Jesus Christ, our Saviour, was sent for a purpose and that was to save mankind from sin. Our Heavenly Father loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die on the cross and pay the penalty for that sin. Can you imagine knowing you were placed on this earth for one sole purpose and that purpose was to die for a cause in which you didn’t participate? Jesus did just that! He was sinless and yet He died for sin! For our sin! Oh what a friend He is indeed! Is He your delight, my friend?

What a friend we have in Jesus!

What a Friend we have in Jesus,
  All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
  Everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit,
  O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
  Everything to God in prayer!

Have we trials and temptations?
  Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged,
  Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful
  Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness,
  Take it to the Lord in prayer.

Are we weak and heavy-laden,
  Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge–
  Take it to the Lord in prayer;
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
  Take it to the Lord in prayer;
In His arms He’ll take and shield thee,
  Thou wilt find a solace there.

Man Kneeling Before Jesus Png & Free Man Kneeling Before ...

I think of the strength and power we receive when we spend time in prayer before Jesus. He gives us the strength to carry on no matter what the circumstances surrounding us.

Today’s political climate is so unsettled. As if that weren’t enough, the Covid virus has many people wringing their hands in worry! What can we gain by adding worry to our burden? Can we personally do anything about it? Can we personally cure it? If you’re like me, you’re an average non-medical person and cannot even come close to finding a cure. Therefore, why worry about it? Why not turn that worry muscle into action by praying to the One who can cure it!

This is how we can equip ourselves with strength and fearless determination, my friend! The world is frantic about what is going on… just look at the unrest that exists! People of this generation have been accustomed to living in peace and mostly harmony. However, the devil knows his time is short and is doing everything in his power to bring together the powers of evil and darkness into positions that can change our world. Don’t be alarmed! God is on His throne and He knows exactly what He is doing. He’s allowing these things to happen for a reason so we must trust Him and rest in His care. How? By focusing on the good things in life and remove ourselves from the bad. Stop watching television or listening to news that can weigh you down! Being in a constant negative environment will make you not only spiritually sick, but also emotionally and physically. Think on the good things. Here are a few verses that may help!
