My beloved has been diagnosed with colon cancer. To that I say, “To God be the glory, great things He hath done”! (Eph 5:19) Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; (Eph 5:20) Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee, how great Thou art, how great Thou art. Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee, how great Thou art… how great Thou art!

I think of all the people we will have an opportunity to speak with which we would not have had otherwise. I thank the Lord that we were here in Virginia where we could be with our church family and amongst friends! Thank You Lord!!! 🙂

Later on this afternoon we find out if John’s cancer can be removed through surgery right away or if he will have to undergo radiation first. We are praying that the tumor is completely gone when the ultrasound is done this afternoon. If the Lord sees fit to leave it there, then we are praying that surgery will be performed quickly with no need for radiation. But let it be known that should the Lord choose anything else for my beloved, our prayer is that we will draw nigh to Him even more so!

Pray with me as we embark on this path. Pray that the Lord would present blessed opportunities to witness to the lost along the way!! That would be awesome!!!

Thank you!

Kate
