Good morning!

My husband’s appointment with the surgeon (second opinion) was moved to this afternoon. I won’t be writing a devotional on the Word of God today but, Lord willing, I will do so tomorrow.

Today, I ask that should the Lord lay us on your heart, please pray for my beloved. Unless the Lord sees fit to heal him completely, we are looking at surgery on his lower colon to remove a polyp in the not-too-distant future. As many of you know, one of the polyps removed on January 11th was cancerous. This surgery may result in either a temporary or permanent colostamy, which would change his life. Please pray for God’s perfect will because that is what we are praying for! Being in the center of God’s will, even sick, is better than being out of His will and healthy, amen?

Thank you for your prayers!

(Pro 3:5) Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. (Pro 3:6) In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. These have been my “life’s verses” since I found them shortly after salvation. I have lived by them and am determined to continue in them. Should I begin to sway, I ask you to remind me of them and hold me accountable! 🙂

  1. I have said a prayer for you and your husband as you go through this experience and I will continue to do so. If surgery becomes necessary please let us know.
