My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in Jesus! Jesus Christ is the source of God’s words to us. He alone provides salvation – He alone provides the words that we need from day to day. Everything is solvable by reading the Scriptures, friend. It does not matter what trial you are going through. Christ is there to reveal His truth to you. It may be a solution; it may be that the Lord is silent, which means to wait. Either way, all answers can be found within the pages of your Bible!

Jesus is the only source for salvation, reader! There is no other! These next five verses are so important and reveal the importance of today’s blog. Please read them carefully and prayerfully if you haven’t been born again (John 3:3).

Joh 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 

Joh 1:14  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 

Col 2:8-9  Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9  For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 

Rom 10:17  So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. 

Act 4:12  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. 

Friend, we can’t take what the world has to say as “written in stone”! The world today is so crazy and what seems right to them goes against Scripture. Furthermore, what is wrong to them is right according to the Scriptures. Just because the law says abortion is legal doesn’t mean it’s OK to have one. God’s word is totally against the killing of babies.

Psa 106:35-38  But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.  (36)  And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.  (37)  Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,  (38)  And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

Then the world says it’s OK to be homosexual. In fact, it has gotten so open that those who hold to the teachings of Scriptures are ostracized for taking a stand for God’s word! God’s work is final, my friend. Your argument is not with me but with Him. I beg you to allow the Scriptures to fill your heart with conviction if you fall in these categories.

1Co 6:9-11  Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,  (10)  Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.  (11)  And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. Noah Webster’s 1828 Dictionary defines the following:

EFFEM’INATEadjective [Latin effoeminatus, from effoeminor, to grow or make womanish, from foemina, a woman.

1. Having the qualities of the female sex; soft or delicate to an unmanly degree; tender; womanish; voluptuous.

2. Womanish; weak; resembling the practice or qualities of the sex; as an effeminate peace; an effeminate life.

ABU’SERnoun s as z. One who abuses, in speech or behavior; one that deceives; a ravisher; a sodomite.

Don’t be deceived, reader. Don’t let the world with its lies draw you into a trap that will eventually lead to eternity in hell’s fire. We are living in the end times. How do I know? Read these verses written in the first century A.D. These verses reveal what time we are in:

Rom 1:21-32  Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  (22)  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,  (23)  And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.  (24)  Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:  (25)  Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.  (26)  For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:  (27)  And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.  (28)  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;  (29)  Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,  (30)  Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,  (31)  Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:  (32)  Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Wow … just wow! How can one ignore these verses? Dear reader, PLEASE take to heart what I’ve written today. I know I may get nasty comments but it must be written! May the Lord soften your heart and help you come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ!

  1. Thank you dear sister for sharing all these Scripture verses. We are living in an upside down world where “evil is called good…….and good is called evil.” May our Lord Jesus Christ touch hearts as they read today’s devotional. Time is short and our Lord is coming soon for His church.

    One day every person will stand before God Almighty. These verses in Revelation come to mind:.
    Will HE be your Saviour or Judge?

    Rev. 20:11-15
    11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
    12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
    13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
    14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
    15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

  2. Amen and amen! So little truth is being published today. It breaks my heart to see the difference from the time I first was saved in 1980 to today :'(. God bless your faithfulness my friend! Keep working for the Lord and looking up for His redemption draweth nigh!!
