Proud – King James Bible Believers Website

Today’s verse is especially poignant … it deals with God’s rebuking the proud. Notice the proud are cursed because they err from God’s commandments? Christ is the fulfillment of the law, amen?

When we apply this verse to finding Christ, we see this:

Thou has rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from Jesus.

There is only one way to Heaven, despite what the world says. There are not many roads to God. There is no other!

Acts 4:10-12: Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

You either believe the Bible or you don’t. This is the faith that provides peace. Jesus is our peace!

Phil. 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

If you can’t accept Jesus Christ as the One and only Saviour of the world, you are destined to be labeled as one of the proud who will be cursed by God according to today’s verse. Can you imagine God telling you on judgment day that you are cursed? The proud do not want to admit that they have been wrong all these years. They pattern their “faith” after their parents’ faith. However, Jesus calls us to repent and come to true faith! If your heart is stirred in the very least, don’t let it slip away.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

You can’t go to the Father through any other name, my friend! Jesus is the only way! Think on these things and come to the truth! Jesus is the way … Jesus is the truth … Jesus has eternal life to give to those who believe through faith! Jesus is the word of God (John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.).

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
