Psalm 94:7 Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard [it].
Man thinks he can get away with sin but he is sadly mistaken. God sees all things and there’s no where to hide from God. Job knew this:
~Job 34:22 [There is] no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.
It is an effort in futility to run away from God. One can choose to ignore that there is a God, but the fact of the matter is it doesn’t matter what one thinks. The wicked choose to think that there isn’t a God who will judge them because this thought process makes their sinning easier – it placates their guilt. They appease their conscience by hanging around people who think the same way they do. But does that change the situation? It most certainly does not. There will be a time of reckoning and it won’t be the proverbial “party in Hell with all my friends.”
~Psalm 10:11 He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see [it].
~Psalm 10:13 Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require [it].
~Psalm 59:7 Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords [are] in their lips: for who, [say they], doth hear?
~Isaiah 29:15 Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?
Man’s wicked heart doesn’t want to be held accountable by God. Life’s pleasures are there for the taking and man will not be deprived of this pleasure! But there is coming a day:
~Luke 12:19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, [and] be merry.
This choice is dangerous and will one day require payment. God sees those sins and will require payment.
~Job 34:21 For his eyes [are] upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.
~Luke 12:20 But God said unto him, [Thou] fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
Man’s life is but a moment in time when it comes to eternity. A moment’s pleasure here on this earth is not worth an eternity of burning in a lake of fire. (Matt. 13:50)
~Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Man may feel that it isn’t “cool” to be a true Christian. A true Christian separates himself from evil and evil doers. That means repenting of an old life of sin and being saved by the precious blood, the work of Christ, on the cross. (Acts 20:21, 2 Cor. 5:17)
It is a choice. There are no second chances. Once death comes, it’s judgment. (Heb. 9:27) Unless a man’s name is found in the Book of Life, there is no hope. (Rev. 20:15) What a tragic end indeed. An end which is preventable in this life time!
God does see everything that goes on in man’s life. There’s no hiding – there’s no denying – there’s no excuse! But one thing’s for sure, the destination is a choice made by man himself.
