As I read your devotional, I was thinking about the five times "The Rock" is used in Deuteronomy 32. Five is symbolic of grace - God giving us what we can never earn or merit. 1. Hm, wonderful truth is given to us, and God is at work in our lives solely through His grace. 2. Salvation by grace through faith. 3. Not only being created by God, but being a new creature by His grace. 4. As you stated, God does not forsake us - through His grace, He loves us and will never leave us nor forsake us. 5.
